New Volunteer Checklist & Training Guide

Here is a checklist of items to make sure are resolved for a new volunteer.

New Volunteers Paperwork & Digital Access Checklist

  • Applicant paperwork completely filled out and received.
  • Scanned & printed copies of applicants government issues photo ID (DL, Passport, etc.).
  • Scanned & printed copies of applicants social security card
  • Physical folder created in RPG Research file cabinet staff folder
  • Applicant paperwork and ID printouts placed in physical file
  • Email account setup: with information on accessing, select Horde.
  • Back Office account setup:
  • New Go Website account setup:
  • Discord non-expiring invitation sent via email:
  • After they connect via Discord, add their account to Volunteer access roles.
  • Addition to email list: - added & verified receiving & able to post
  • Verify Discord volunteer private channel access working
  • access for meeting notes (in future move to our server)
  • Send link information for Jitsi access.

Tabletop Game Master Level 0 Training Diploma Goals & Requirements


Through peer-reviewed practice, must illustrate competence & confidence (minimum aggregate score of 90%) in the areas specified in this section.



Basic RPG system knowledge


  1. No Thank You Evil: Dragonsnot Falls and one other adventure of choice.
  2. D&D 5e - Lost Mines of Phandelver Beginner Boxed Set
  3. AiMe - Eves of Mirkwood or TOR The Marsh Bell
  4. Star Wars - One introduction boxed set of choice: Age of Rebellion, Edge of the Empire, Force & Destiny, or The Force Awakens.


Optional (will become required when details finalized)

  1. Contemporary mystery or police procedural adventure without magic, horror, or science fiction. - TBD, evaluating Doctor Who (hidden, like the non-violence focus) or BRP -(like the customizable skills system, maybe incorporate Dr Who non-violence too)
  2. Super hero system and introduction adventure - TBD
