RTHP Section 2: Diagnoses and Populations
The diagnoses and populations listed in this section come from multiple sources, though primarily reference the Recreation Therapy Handbook of Practice, The DSM-5 by the APA, online you can reference the World Health Organization's International Classification.
Not all populations listed have any kind of "disability" issues to consider, rather they may just be cultural differences that should be taken into account when forming, implementing, and evaluating role-playing games to be used with the relevant population, for example very young children before they can read, elderly, or other cohort considerations.
Included in this section, which is not included in the Recreation Therapy Handbook of Practice (RTHP), are RPG and related sub-culture populations referenced in this section, for example "Rules Laywers", "Murder Hobos", "PUGs", "Gamer Floaters", "Munchkins", "Cosplayers", etc.
