"Are you available to develop a therapeutic role play video game?"
Someone just emailed me this question today. Considering my 30+ years in tech, my 30+ years in RPGs, and 12+ years in recreation therapy and RPG therapy, certainly my overall default answer would be a resounding YES! But in reality it depends on the details of course...
Someone emailed me today asking "Are you available to develop a therapeutic role play video game ..."
Hmm, my background in computer science since 1979, role-playing gaming since 1979, recreational therapy and RPG therapy since 2004, on first blush it certainly sounds like a perfect fit.
Of course it really depends on what they actually have in mind
I will be speaking with them Tuesday 1 pm.
It will be interesting to see what it really means. Hopefully nothing wacky. :-)
If they are legitimate, then I may have found a solution to the funding issues directly in line with all my efforts, all in one nice neat package.
We'll see how it goes...
