Middle-earth d20 Loremaster's Guide Delayed

by Hawke Robinson published Jun 20, 2015 05:05 PM, last modified Feb 05, 2023 12:22 PM
Those that preordered the Loremaster's Guide for the Open Game License (OGL) of D&D 5th Edition (5e) adaptation to Middle-earth based on Cubicle 7's The One Ring RPG (TOR) back in April 2016, recently received notification that there will be a further delay in release of the PDF...

Just an FYI, the Loremaster's guide realease, that was slated for release in 2016, has been slightly delayed.

Subject: Adventures in Middle-earth Loremaster's Guide - progress update

Hello!

Thanks for pre-ordering the Loremaster's Guide for Adventures in
Middle-earth. I wanted to give you an update on progress with the guide -
it was a bit unusual for us to offer such an early pre-order, but as the
two guides were closely related volumes I wanted to give everyone the
chance to order the pair in one go to save the checkout fatigue. We were
working towards a PDF release by the end of December, but that won't be
feasible now. There were a few bits we decided to spend a bit more time
polishing to get right, and of course the Christmas and New Year break will
now interfere in the process more than we had hoped! I don't have a
definite date, but I can't see any reason why we won't be able to release
the PDF by the end of January. Physical copies should then be ready for
March.

I appreciate that any delays are frustrating, but I can reassure you that I
have seen a mostly laid-out PDF and it is looking great. I'm really happy
with how the Player's Guide has been received, and I am excited to see what
everyone makes of the Loremaster's Guide!

If you have any questions for us, please get in touch - the best address to
contact is info@cubicle7.co.uk

Have a wonderful festive celebration of your choice!
