2017 Testimonial about RPG Research from the Muscular Dystrophy Association
"Hello! I was a counselor at the MDA 2017 Summer Camp and participated
in both the Battle Royale and the Adventure Quest. All I can say is
that you guys are AWESOME. My shy camper completely opened up for the
first time during the Battle Royale and had the best time. I know that
it was his favorite activity from the camp! Plus, he loved that he got
to decorate and keep his very own shield. Thank you for everything that
you guys do. I'm forever grateful to you! "

This was regarding the RPG Research Project staffs use of tabletop and live-action role-playing games, and use of drum circle facilitation, with 21 children ages 6-17 with Muscular Dystrophy.
This application of research, since 2004 providing role-playing game-based services to special needs populations to help them achieve their educational, recreational, and therapeutic goals, also feeds back into the body of research addressing the plethora of research questions the RPG Research Project has been answering since 2004.
